Pyro Paper Planes is an independent music project, directed by myself, Christopher Foss. I am a composer, editor, and arranger. My music strives to work as a catalyst to our emotions, engaged by covering music with a wide variety of genres, such as piano solos, trance, and ambiance. The goal of Pyro Paper Planes is to include the audience with its music. I plan to share my music with the listeners, so we can all be a part of the experience.
I have composed and arranged a multitude of works for various different projects, including Harmony of a Hunter, which was nominated for “Best Western Fan Arrangement Album” by Original Sound Version. I have also edited the music for the performance Sleeping Beauty by The Gail Neish Dance Studios, which was recognized by 23 Members of Scottish Parliament as “showcasing the talent and creativity of the people of Kirkcaldy”.
My instrument of choice is the computer. I use Logic Studio extensively with a variety of instrument libraries, integrating my music with a variety of instruments, including: Singing, guitar, and piano, for which I have played for more than ten years. I have been studying music for most of my life, and continue to integrate music with my learnings in life.
